Medical Camps

The Trust organises medical camps to identify health issues in their early stages and provide expert consultations to those who cannot easily travel to the main hospital.

Types of camps include diagnostic & screening camps (diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease), eye care (ophthalmology) camps for cataracts and vision issues, maternal & child health camps, surgical assessment camps, and community blood donation drives.

The goal is early detection, bringing specialist expertise to rural doorsteps, raising public awareness on hygiene and preventive healthcare, and ensuring seamless follow-up care back at the hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust demonstrated this outreach capability by establishing a satellite center in Amod and expanding hospital capacity to 125 beds to meet urgent public need.
