The Al Mahmood Charitable Trust maintains a robust governance framework for disaster relief, allowing the institution to pivot rapidly from standard medical operations to large-scale emergency response.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust expanded hospital capacity to 125 beds, established a temporary satellite medical facility in Amod, and utilised its 24/7 ICU and emergency framework to provide critical care when regional resources were most strained.

During natural disasters or public health emergencies, our ambulance service serves as a critical logistics arm — maintaining 24/7 dispatch for rapid coordination, and deploying mobile medical units to remote areas for on-site stabilisation. Disaster relief also extends to essential supplies: food, clean water, and clothing for displaced families, and emergency welfare support for the most marginalised groups, including widows and the elderly.
